Ties That Bind...

The Shadow Hunter, Lumiya's ship, comms the party's ship and orders them to stand down from the freighter. Pep refuses. The Shadow Hunter opens up on the freighter, which is sitting dead in space. Half of the cockpit gets blown off. The party then opens up on the Shadow Hunter, and decimates it with their opening volley, by hitting it with several ion cannons followed up by torpedoes.

The Party quickly evacuates everyone to their ship and finds that Blayze is missing. Last she was seen, she was in the cockpit. A quick scan surrounding the freighter finds Blayze and they tow her in with the tractor beam. With some fast work between Janus and Baaca, they manage to get Blayze's heart beating again and stabilize her. She appears to be in a coma. The party quickly heads to a near by station and gets her into a real medical bay. The med bay technicians place Blayze in a bacta tank. Things are not looking up. The party contacts Grammy.

Little did they know, Lumiya managed to use the force to traverse through space and get inside their ship, where she hid and waited for them to land. She quickly rigged up some explosives and then stowed back away on the ship. The party stayed around long enough to meet up with Grammy and left Blayze and Devon in her care. Appearently once Taren heard what happened, he gathered up some family and went after the Imperials.

They then left the station and were heading to a jump vector at the edge of the system. Camara went to Janus's room to check on her computer. As she opened the door, she saw a beautiful, young woman with a smile like death itself. And then everything started going to black as she felt the light saber ignite through her abdomen. She barely managed to hit her comm and let off a cry for help.

Everyone rushed to Janus' room, where they found Lumiya standing over Camara, who appeared to be dying.  A fight quickly ensued. Gentle got hammered very early on, but managed to keep going, pressing the attack from her flank as Janus and Pep pushed at her from the front. With a quick move, Gentle managed to disarm her of her lightsaber. Meanwhile Bacca grabbed Camara and got her to the med bay and managed to save her life.

Eventually Janus, Pep, and Gentle manage to wear Lumiya down. She pulled out a detonator behind her back. Janus used the force to slam her against the wall and then pull her to him so he could cut her in half. As she hit the wall, she triggered the detonator. Then Janus finished her of by decapitation.

After everyone had made it to med bay, Bacca began patching everybody up. Once that was done, they tried to contact the station to make sure that Grammy, Blayze, and Devon were okay. They found out that there was an explosion in the med bay there, so they turned around and headed back.

When they got there they found that Blayze's bacta tank was missing and they could not find the bodies of Grammy nor Devon. Janus used the force to try and get a bearing on them, and figured out that Grand Moff Phyryuss had Devon. They left the station and went to meet up with Major Merrs who had contacted them for a mission.

When the got to planet Lorrimax, they landed and scouted out the area in case of a trap. While they were deciding how they'd handle the meet, Bacca noticed a squad of stormtroopers going into a nearby docking bay. He commed the rest, then headed in to find Major Merrs and a few others under fire. He pulled his Eweb out of his duffle bag and let loose a stream of fire right down the line of stormtroopers who had taken cover with their backs to him. The rest of the party arrived a moment later to find them all dead.

They quickly got Merrs back to their ship, then Janus and Camara went out to go chat with the last remaining survivor of Merr's little group. While they were gone, Gentle, Amanda and Bacca decided to interrogate Merrs, and strapped her to a medical table. They managed to get a little info out of her. She was working for the Imperials, but as a double agent for the Rebellion. Apparently.

When Janus got back, he searched her mind and found that she honestly was working for the rebels and that she had no idea where the missing Wylds were or how a tracking beacon had been put on the ship. Also he found that the memory of the tracking beacon had been tampered with, as if her memory of having nothing to do with it was false even though she truly believed it. Janus came to the conclusion that someone had messed with her mind.

Also, throughout all of this, several issues have arisen in the party. Camara's feelings for Janus among them. Also Amanda's curious interest in what happens between the two of them began to get called into the light. What may happen between the jedi and Camara remains to be seen, along with why Amanda seems to keep putting her nose into the situation.
