New Beginnings and Old Endings...

Opening Sequence...

Janus walked down the corridor towards his room. Sweat still dripping from his workout. Suddenly he felt an overriding panic, fear, and anger. Apparitions sprung forth in his brain. An elderly human in a mechanic's jumpsuit flashed in his mind. A charred, smoking, pit in his chest. Then another, a young girl in a skimpy, Corellian made outfit, screaming as several blaster bolts struck her form. Quieting only as she limply hit the floor. The corridor fell away under Janus as the stench of death assaulted him. A rodian without a head danced through his brain, as suddenly vision return to him. He could see his hands holding a blaster, but they were not his hands. They were smooth, small, feminine hands. Janus knew then he was in his mother's mind.
She turned and fired several shots at a group of stormtroopers behind her as she ran across the docking bay. In a heart beat, the air was filled with smoke and light as over a dozen Wylds near a large freighter, opened up on the group of stromtroopers. The chaos of fire and emotion, almost dizzying, gave Janus a strange, exhilarated rush. Their feet pounding, they made it to the ramp as the others began to slowly back up onto the ship. Pain, heat, sizzling, their back. It burns. Their vision darkens, they stumble. A sheer wave of will propelled them the last ten feet and through the door. The deck-plating with a clean, polished shine to it, rushed up and...
Janus opens his eyes. Finding himself face first on the floor of the corridor he was in. Two thoughts drifted into his mind, she got away and she's alive.

The Party meets up with Castile in a middle of nowhere system in the Fakir sector. Bacca gets his back pay, and the party gets an X-wing. Castile takes Major Merrs off of their hands and informs them that Wylds Enterprises has been nationalized by the Empire. The party takes their leave and heads for Planet Vakkar, the sector's capital.
On the way, Amanda has a dream, and Janus picks up on it. She dreams of floating through a system she doesn't recognize. Near the third planet of the system, she sees a small bright metal disk floating nearby. She hears a familiar voice say, "hello little one". After inputting what she remembers of the system into the nav computer, she finds that her dream points her to the Jeralith system, an hour outside of Vakkar.
When the party arrives, they find the Wyld Chyld floating dead in space. They dock with her, and find signs of a battle inside, along with several dead Wylds. A search of the ship turns up Taren, Doc, and Wolf. At first all three appear dead, until Janus informs them that they are in a deep hibernation trance. They get the Wyld Chyld up and running, and Doc and Taren go off to find reinforcements while the party heads to Vakkar.
During the voyage, Janus and Camara decide to Lifebond in hopes that it might help them to crack the data crystals they've been working on. They figure with their skills combined, they should be able to do it. Upon lifebonding, their emotions prove too much for them, and they give in to each other. While their cabin is a rockin', Amanda and Wolf do a little catching up in the mess hall. They are both trying to drink each other under the table. During which, Amanda decides to make a move on Wolf, and the two of them play tonsil hockey. Which quickly gets broken up when Pep sounds the warning alarm that they're jumping into system.
Once in system, they run sensors to find two star destroyers stationed there. And a third which seems to be sitting in the middle of the other two's patrol path, watching them. The party quickly flies past the three star destroyers and heads down to the planet. They do a fly over of Grand Moff Phyryuss's vacation home and find several imperial shuttles there, along with what looks to be a fire fight between stormtroopers and imperial storm commandos.
